Computational Thinking

What is computational thinking?
"Computational thinking is a problem solving method that uses computer science techniques" Wikipedia
To me computational thinking is about creating an algorithm that solves the problem.  The algorithm could then be used to solve similar problems or bigger scaled problem.

Students can experience computational thinking by taking part in the challenges presented by Bebras. There are a series of challenges and students can work in pairs to solve the challenges. It looks good.

How to learn computational thinking?
Of course another way to introduce computational thinking is to start with the Hour of Code K-8 intro to Programming course

Students could progress beyond this basic 20 hours of coding with
